Ana Carolina Salazar is a native of Venezuela and is the Founder and Owner of Bold Digital Marketing Studio, a fully remote Hispanic digital marketing company whose mission is to help brands connect with their intended audiences by focusing on strategic positioning, innovation, visibility, and growth.
In 2019, Ana Carolina founded BOLD after realizing there was a huge need for her services and for connecting others with the Hispanic market. This allowed her to help others ahead of herself, a motto she follows in her personal life as well. She gained much of her experience within the Hispanic market through her work for various companies and organizations that connected with the Hispanic audience.
Since 2019, Ana Carolina transformed her business by providing services to over 35 small businesses and entrepreneurs, experienced 58% growth in revenue as compared to last year, doubled her staff, and provided internship opportunities to students abroad.
In February 2021, BOLD was recognized as the “Small Business of the Month” by the Orlando Magic through a program to help local small businesses. BOLD was highlighted in the Orlando Magic’s Newsletter, social media, and official radio channel.
In 2020, Ana Carolina was nominated for the Outstanding Young Woman Leader Award of La Prensa Newspaper’s Mujeres Destacadas and was the recipient of MADcon’s “2021 Top 100 Marketing and Advertising Leaders Award”. She was also recognized by Florida Governor Rick Scott for her contributions to the “Keep Florida Working” project.
In addition to her passion for her business, Ana Carolina has a strong passion for serving the community. She currently serves on Prospera’s Tour Latino Committee, is an Ambassador of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO), and is a member of the American Cancer Society Social Media Committee.
During the pandemic, she also participated in special initiatives outside her business, such as becoming one of the Co-founders of “Mas”, an alliance created between various marketing agencies that brought together their talents and resources to help the community during this difficult time.
Ana Carolina earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida in 2010, after following in her mother’s footsteps, she moved to Europe and completed a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing from the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona in Spain.
Ana is determined, organized and tenacious. Her team defines her as an inspiring, passionate, generous person and a great friend, which is why her team is like a big family to her. She is a born leader and a great example for others to follow.
She currently resides in Orlando, Florida, and has a sweet fur baby named Kahlua.
She is the engine that runs BOLD.
